Tuscany is beautiful, Tuscany in the Fall is Divine.
The vineyards have been (mostly) harvested with some of the late season grapes adorning the vines. Not to fret, the olive harvest is just begining with the fragrance of the new wines and freshly pressed olive filling the along with roasting chestnuts and aromatic fall vegeatables cooking in a stew. To blend this collage together are the beautiful colors of the fall folliage.
The weather is generally mild with sunny days for outings and enjoying the relaxed and (mostly) tourist free atmosphere.
The autumn harvest fills the markets and our menu with mushrooms, pumpkins and freshly pressed olive oil.
It is the perfect time for long, leisurely dinners in the cool breeze, for driving up the spectacular coast and admiring the scenery, for sipping a fine Chianti with friends.

Lunches will be provided in a handy picnic bag for you to enjoy as you explore the area.
Dinners are the star of the show with daily four course meals highlighting regional and fusion dishes with wines complimenting each dish.

Nestled on top of a small hill with breathtaking views of the countryside stands La Lucciolaia. Just a few minutes from San Gimignano our superb and typical Tuscan farmhouse skillfully renovated offers 9 elegant double bedrooms and 2 suites, a swimming pool overlooking the vineyard below.
We believe that to truly experience Tuscany, you need to stay in a little villa in a quiet village surrounded by sunflower fields and vineyards. Each morning as you sip your strong, freshly-brewed coffee, the breeze rolling in from the fields will delight your senses, while the rustic, comforting flavors of classic Tuscan dishes warm you from the inside. Strong red wine is drunk at every meal, and the beautiful olive oil of the region enhances every dish it touches.
