Autumn in Tuscany
What can be said about Tuscany that hasn’t already been said? The iconic food, the glorious produce, and of course, the wine.
The vineyards have been (mostly) harvested with some of the late season grapes adorning the vines. Not to fret, the olive harvest is just begining with the fragrance of the new wines and freshly pressed olive filling the along with roasting chestnuts and aromatic fall vegeatables cooking in a stew. To blend this collage together are the beautiful colors of the fall folliage. The weather is generally mild with sunny days for outings and enjoying the relaxed and (mostly) tourist free atmosphere. The autumn harvest fills the markets and our menu with mushrooms, pumpkins and freshly pressed olive oil.
It is the perfect time for long, leisurely dinners in the cool breeze, for driving up the spectacular coast and admiring the scenery, for sipping a fine Chianti with friends. Join Kosher Culinary Travel as we explore everything Tuscany has to offer!
