How an engagement and its fees are structured
We do not publish pricing for private journeys, because no two programs are comparable. We are happy to be completely clear about how an engagement is built.
A production service
KCT is a production service. The work of designing and coordinating a private journey is substantial and front-loaded, and an engagement is structured to reflect that.
Four parts of an engagement
- 01
Planning or production retainer
Engaged at the point the work begins. It reflects the design and coordination effort, which is substantial and front-loaded.
- 02
Management fee
Based on the scope and overall budget of the program. Agreed in writing before production starts.
- 03
Culinary and staffing services
Quoted separately from production: the brigade, the mashgiach, the service team, the kitchen build and the provisioning operation.
- 04
Direct expenses
Properties, charters, transport, suppliers and provisioning, passed through directly or on transparent agreed terms.
Before an engagement
The first conversation asks about the group, the dates, the occasion, the kind of property you picture, how you eat, how you keep things religiously, the level of service you expect and roughly what you are prepared to invest. A sense of the investment you have in mind helps us shape the right proposal. A concept then sets out a direction and a preliminary scope before anything is formally agreed.
For our hosted Editions, prices are published. See the Das Balance pricing page. For private journeys, read how we work or begin a conversation.

Tell Avicam where you would like to go and who is traveling. We discuss honestly whether KCT is the right team, and how an engagement would be structured. We reply as soon as we can.
