One adult traveling with children pays the single-room price plus each child’s price, in one room. A children’s room needs at least one child aged 13 or older; any further child in it pays that child’s price. Children’s prices, the children’s room and the additional-adult price are final, with no service charge added. A room category supplement, where it applies, is per room for the week and is shown in your rooms and your quotation.

Good to know
The conditional reserve
Your price is fixed. While the Edition is filling, Founder and Priority rooms carry a conditional reserve: a temporary amount above the published price, at most €1,500 per Founder room and €400 per Priority room, and half that for a single room or one adult with children. It is only paid if the room numbers do not reach the level set at the last payment, and your quotation shows the most it could be for your rooms.
How the reserve works
Which rooms
Founder and Priority rooms only. General Release rooms and children’s rooms carry no reserve. A single room, or one adult with children, pays half the reserve of a two-adult room.
Per room, not per person
The reserve is a fixed euro amount per room. It is not charged per adult and it is not a percentage of your price.
How it gets smaller
The reserve gets smaller as more rooms are confirmed. It disappears completely by 40 qualifying rooms for Founder rooms and at 38 for Priority rooms. It can go down, or disappear entirely, at any point before the final payment as more rooms are confirmed.
How rooms are counted
Rooms are counted on July 12, 2027. Qualifying fully paid bookings that clear through the final July 26, 2027 cutoff can still lower the reserve. Bookings made after July 26, 2027 do not change it.
When it is due
Payable with the final balance due July 19, 2027; for later bookings, with the amount due at booking.
If it goes down
If the reserve goes down after your final payment, the reduction is refunded within 14 business days. Once a lower reserve has been reached, later cancellations by other guests never raise it again.
If you cancel
A guest who cancels does not owe the reserve. It is never added to a cancellation charge and it is never a cancellation fee.
If you travel
The reserve can apply even when you attend, if the room numbers stay below the level set at the last payment.
Before you reserve
Your personal quotation shows any reserve that could apply to your room before you reserve.
The amounts
Per Founder room: €1,500 below 30 qualifying rooms, €1,250 from 30, €1,000 from 32, €500 from 35, €250 from 38 and nothing from 40. Per Priority room: €400 below 35 qualifying rooms, €200 from 35 and nothing from 38. A single room or one adult with children counts as three quarters of a room and pays half the amount; a children’s room counts as half a room and carries no reserve.
Payment
How you pay
Bank transfer
Payment is by bank transfer only. Prices are in euros, and euro payment is preferred. US dollars are accepted at the nominal Google exchange rate plus 2%. The dollar amount is fixed when payment instructions are issued, and those instructions are valid for three business days; after that they are refreshed with you. Refunds are made in the currency originally paid.
KCT’s bank details are never shown online. They are sent to you by email with your payment instructions.
Missed installment
If an installment is missed, KCT sends you written notice and you have seven calendar days to complete it, unless arrival is too close to allow that period. If it is still unpaid after that period, KCT may cancel the booking under the cancellation terms below.
Booking terms
Holding, paying and canceling
Holding a room
A personal quotation is valid for 72 hours, and suitable rooms are held for you for the same 72 hours. If you send proof of an initiated bank transfer during the hold, it is extended to five business days from the day the transfer was initiated. Proof of a transfer is not payment. Your booking is confirmed once the required initial payment has cleared and KCT has confirmed it to you in writing. An expired quotation is checked again for availability and price before it is reissued.
Before GO
GO is the point when the Edition is confirmed to go ahead. Before GO, each room is booked with a €500 deposit, including children’s rooms, credited toward the package price. The refund deadline is December 15, 2026: if the Edition has not reached GO by then, every deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel before GO, your deposit is not refunded.
After GO
After GO there is no separate deposit. At least 35% of the package price is due at booking, or the higher percentage already due on the booking date under the schedule below, including bookings made before the first payment date.

Cancellation
Cancellation must be sent in writing. The maximum charge depends on the date your cancellation is received.

Changes and good to know
Spelling corrections to names are free. A change of traveler, ages or party is checked again for room suitability and price. Room assignments, views and complimentary upgrades are not guaranteed. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Families
- Children
- Children’s weekly prices are fixed euro amounts by age band, confirmed in your personal quotation. They assume the children can be accommodated in a suitable family room.
- Ages and beds
- Ages count on arrival day, July 26, 2027. Cribs are for ages 0 to 3 and extra beds for children up to age 15. Children may also use a regular bed. A sofa bed takes one adult or the children the room allows, never two adults. Children aged 16 or 17 use a regular bed or a sofa bed place, as the age limit applies only to extra beds.
- Age 18 and over
- Guests aged 18 and over pay the full adult price of their release.
- Tourist tax
- Tourist tax: €4.50 per person per night for guests aged 16 and over on arrival (€31.50 per eligible guest for seven nights), paid directly to the hotel. It is additional to the package price and is not part of payments or cancellation charges.
- Several rooms
- Extended families and groups can request several rooms together, one household at a time, each priced as above. Avicam goes through larger groups with you personally.
- Children’s room
- A separate children’s room is possible when at least one child in it is 13 or older on arrival day; otherwise we will check this arrangement with you personally. It costs €5,000, €6,000 or €7,500 by release, including its two highest-priced children. Being close to your room is a preference unless your quotation guarantees it.
- One adult with children
- Suitable rooms follow the same sleeping rules as any family. The price is the single-room price plus each child’s price.
- Third adult
- A third adult can use a room’s sofa bed, one adult per sofa. Suitable rooms are shown on Hotel and Rooms, and the price is the additional-adult price: €1,250, €1,500 or €1,950 by release.

Will the whole hotel be ours?
We plan an exclusive takeover of the whole hotel for July 26-August 2, 2027, for this Edition only. It is planned with the hotel and will be confirmed when the hotel agreement is signed.
Is everything included?
You are our guests for the week: the meals, the wine and cocktails, the daily tea and refreshment station, the afternoon pop-up, and two or three hosted evenings. Tourist tax: €4.50 per person per night for guests aged 16 and over on arrival (€31.50 per eligible guest for seven nights), paid directly to the hotel. What does Founder mean?
Founder pricing is the first 20 rooms. It is the lowest published price, and Founder guests receive priority consideration when rooms are selected. Complimentary upgrades are not guaranteed.
Can I choose my room?
Every room category and its family arrangement is on the Hotel and Rooms chapter. Your booking confirmation sets out your room category; a particular room number is a preference, not a guarantee. Avicam will talk through your preferences personally.
Are children welcome?
Yes. There are scheduled, supervised children’s sessions, with ages and hours announced once staffing is confirmed, and a children’s play and video game room. Children who are not potty trained require their parent or their own caregiver. Children’s prices are confirmed in your personal quotation, and Avicam plans family arrangements with you.
What about Shabbat?
Shabbat is part of the week, with a synagogue on site: Friday-night dinner, breakfast, Shabbat lunch and late-afternoon food. Exact arrangements and times will be published later.
Are outings organized?
Excursions are optional and separately priced unless expressly included. The ideas on Around Wörthersee are suggestions, not booked KCT activities, and you are welcome to explore on your own with a takeaway lunch.
What does a day look like?
There is no rigid timetable, and all hours are approximate: breakfast approximately 7:30 to 10:00 AM, a lunch buffet approximately 1:00 to 2:30 PM, a culinary pop-up approximately 4:00 to 6:00 PM, and dinner approximately 7:00 to 9:00 PM, with aperitif cocktails before and wine, digestifs and conversation after. What happens in the evenings?
Two or three evenings in the week are hosted, and their details will be announced. The other evenings stay relaxed, with dinner, the bar and conversation.
Is there all-day childcare?
No. The children’s sessions are scheduled and supervised, with ages and hours announced once staffing is confirmed. Every session is supervised. Children who are not potty trained require their parent or their own caregiver.
What is there for teenagers?
The games lounge is a gathering place for teenagers, and there are selected age-appropriate activities.
What happens on arrival and departure days?
On arrival day there are welcome refreshments, then dinner. On departure day there is breakfast and a takeaway lunch for the journey. Early check-in and late checkout: subject to availability; not guaranteed.
Can you plan for dietary requirements?
We ask for dietary requirements before you travel, and children have familiar alternatives at lunch and dinner.
Is travel insurance required?
It is strongly recommended and not mandatory. It is not included.
