Conversation
Before anything is designed, we need to understand the trip you are actually trying to have.
We ask about the group and its structure, the dates, the occasion, where you are drawn to and why, the kind of property you picture, how you like to eat, how you keep things religiously, the level of service you expect, and roughly what you are prepared to invest.
Some of these questions are more useful than they sound. The ages of the children shape the itinerary more than the destination does. How you feel about a mashgiach in the house changes the whole culinary plan. And an honest investment range early saves everyone three weeks.

Concept
We come back with a direction — not a day-by-day itinerary.
The concept sets out the destination and region, the property or yacht we would pursue, the style of the experience, the culinary approach, the staffing shape, an itinerary framework and a preliminary scope.
We do not build a complete custom itinerary before a formal engagement. Producing one properly takes weeks of supplier work, and a document produced for free is a document nobody has verified. What we will do is show you clearly what the journey would be and what it would take.

Production
Once engaged, the work begins — and most of it happens before you have packed.
Properties and yachts contracted. Chefs, sous chefs and pastry engaged. Mashgichim confirmed. Kitchen or galley surveyed, kashered and equipped. Provisioning routes established and long-lead items shipped. Transport, guides, instructors, activities, rentals and local suppliers contracted. Shabbat and Yom Tov requirements built in. Guest logistics managed where there is a guest list.
This is the invisible part of the job, and it is the part that determines whether the visible part works.

On Location
A KCT producer is there, running the programme, so that you are not.
This is the single clearest difference between us and a travel planner. Somebody from KCT is on the ground, managing the team, handling what changes, absorbing the problems, and keeping the family out of the operations of their own holiday.
You should never be the person calling the driver, chasing the supplier or deciding what happens when the weather turns. That is what we are for.
Engagement
This Is a
Production Service.
We do not publish pricing, because no two programmes are comparable. We are happy to be completely clear about how an engagement is structured.

Planning or production retainer
Engaged at the point the work begins. It reflects the design and coordination effort, which is substantial and front-loaded.
- 02
Management fee
Based on the scope and overall budget of the programme. Agreed in writing before production starts.
- 03
Culinary & staffing services
Quoted separately from production — the brigade, the mashgiach, the service team, the kitchen build and the provisioning operation.
- 04
Direct expenses
Properties, charters, transport, suppliers and provisioning, passed through directly or on transparent agreed terms.
Itinerary planning is professional work, not a complimentary service offered in the hope of a booking. Being straightforward about that at the start tends to make everything after it easier.

Lead Time
Shorter than this is sometimes possible and occasionally excellent. It is worth asking rather than assuming — but the best properties, the best crews and the best chefs are committed early.
