Destinations / Hawaii
Hawaii,
produced properly
Private estates and resort buyouts across the islands, with a full kosher operation built in — a longer lead time, and a bigger production, for a genuinely private stay.
Why here
Hawaii is, on paper, the hardest of the destinations we work — a kosher supply chain that has to be built almost entirely from the mainland, and a distance that makes improvisation impossible. Which is exactly why families who want it done properly call us rather than book it themselves.
It is also unusually good for a multi-generational trip: private estates with genuine space, water on every side, and a slower pace than almost anywhere else we operate.
The work happens well before departure — provisioning consolidated and shipped weeks ahead, a kitchen built where the property does not have one, and a team on the ground before the family lands.
Where, within it
The regions
worth choosing between.
Maui
The most requested island for a family week — beaches, the road to Hana, and strong private-estate stock.
The Big Island
Volcanoes, black-sand coasts and genuine variety of landscape within a single island, for a family that wants more than a beach.
Kauai
The quietest and greenest of the main islands — the choice for a family prioritising privacy over nightlife.
Oahu
Honolulu's community and supply chain make it the practical provisioning base for the rest of the islands.
When it's actually good
April – June
Warm, calmer seas, and before the peak summer rates — our preferred window.
September – November
Similarly strong, with fewer visitors than midsummer.
December – March
Peak season and whale-watching on several islands; book eight to twelve months out.
Summer
Warm and busy; workable, and the obvious window for a school-holiday family trip.

shape of it.
Properties
- Private beachfront estates taken as a full buyout
- Resort villa buyouts where a single estate is not large enough for the group
- Multi-generational compounds with separate accommodation for each family
- A dedicated mobile kitchen built into the property where none exists
Culinary
- Kosher meat, wine and dry goods consolidated on the mainland and shipped ahead of arrival
- Fresh fish and produce sourced locally within the agreed standard — genuinely excellent on every island
- Outdoor grilling and beach-side dining as the default rather than the exception
- A full brigade in a kitchen built for the stay, whether or not the property has one already
Kosher setup & provisioning
- Villa or resort kitchen kashered, or a dedicated mobile kitchen installed where kashering is not possible
- Provisioning consolidated from the mainland weeks ahead, with a realistic shipping and customs timeline
- Local sourcing for fish and produce, planned around what each island can actually supply
- Mashgiach in residence for the duration
- A written kashrut standard agreed well before the first order is placed
Getting there
- Gateways: Honolulu, Kahului (Maui), Kona (Big Island), Lihue (Kauai)
- Inter-island travel is by short flight — built into the itinerary rather than left to the family
- Vehicles on site throughout; most private estates are not walkable to anything
- Provisioning lead time is the binding constraint on the whole itinerary — plan on it early
